Have you ever looked at your life and thought, “I’m doing everything right… so why doesn’t it feel better?”
I have.
I built a business, raised two young children, navigated my father’s suicide, and faced my own cancer diagnosis, all while holding everything together on the outside.
Internally, I was in survival mode, disguised as coping. I believed that was the only way to live, stay strong, keep going, handle it all.
Until one day, I made a decision that changed everything.
I stopped waiting for my life to calm down before allowing myself to experience joy.
Because no one teaches us how to live that way.
What I discovered is that joy isn’t something you find after everything is done. It’s something you learn to access while you’re living.
That realization led me to reconnect with what I loved beyond my roles and responsibilities, deepen into stillness through meditation, and ultimately step onto the wing of a 1950s biplane as a certified wing walker, the fullest expression of the joy I had reclaimed.
Today, my work is grounded in that shift, supporting others as they move beyond coping and into a way of living that feels more present, connected, and fully alive.
